Therapeutic Healing Services
Trauma-Informed Therapy for Emotional Healing & Nervous System Regulation
Therapeutic services are designed to support individuals in processing trauma, regulating the nervous system, and addressing emotional distress rooted in past experiences. These approaches focus on restoring internal stability, increasing self-awareness, and supporting the brain and body’s natural capacity to heal.
Work is grounded in evidence-based, trauma-informed modalities that address both psychological and physiological responses to stress and trauma.
EMDR Therapy &
EMDR Intensives
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a structured therapeutic approach that helps individuals process traumatic memories, emotional triggers, anxiety, and distressing experiences.
EMDR supports the brain’s natural healing process, allowing painful experiences to become less emotionally overwhelming over time.
What Is EMDR?
EMDR is a psychotherapy treatment that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences. Repeated studies show that by using EMDR therapy, people can experience the benefits of psychotherapy that once took years to make a difference.
It is widely assumed that severe emotional pain requires a long time to heal, yet EMDR therapy shows that the mind can in fact heal from psychological trauma much as the body heals from physical trauma. When you cut your hand, your body works to close the wound. If a foreign object or repeated injury irritates the wound, it can become inflamed and cause pain.
Once the block is removed, healing resumes.
EMDR therapy demonstrates a similar sequence of events within the brain’s natural information processing system, which is oriented toward mental health and integration. When this system is disrupted by disturbing experiences, emotional distress can become “stuck,” leading to ongoing symptoms.
Once the block is removed, healing resumes.
Through structured protocols and clinical procedures, EMDR helps activate natural healing processes so that distressing experiences can be reprocessed and integrated in a healthier way.

Somatic Experiencing
Somatic Experiencing is a body-centered therapeutic approach that helps release stored stress and trauma from the nervous system.
Rather than focusing only on thoughts or memories, this work supports clients in developing awareness of physical sensations, emotional patterns, and the body’s natural ability to heal and regulate.
What Is Somatic Experiencing?
Somatic Experiencing is a body-oriented therapeutic approach designed to help release stored stress and trauma from the nervous system.
Rather than focusing only on thoughts or emotional narratives, this approach works with physical sensations, physiological responses, and the body’s natural regulation systems.
When overwhelming experiences occur, the nervous system can become dysregulated and hold survival energy in the body. This can contribute to symptoms such as anxiety, tension, emotional overwhelm, or a sense of disconnection.
Somatic Experiencing supports the gradual release of this stored activation, allowing the nervous system to return to a more regulated and balanced state.
Through gentle awareness of bodily sensations and guided tracking of internal experience, the system is supported in completing interrupted survival responses and restoring a sense of safety and stability.
Benefits of Somatic Experiencing
Stress Reduction: Helps reduce chronic stress and trauma responses.
Nervous System Regulation: Addresses chronic hyperarousal or hypoarousal, restoring balance.
Symptom Relief: Alleviates symptoms such as anxiety, depression, irritability, and anger.

Enhanced Relationships: Improves interpersonal relationships by reducing stress-related conflicts.
Empowerment: Teaches techniques to deactivate the stress response in the nervous system.
Holistic Healing: Integrates physical and emotional healing for comprehensive wellness.
NARM Therapy
NARM is a therapeutic approach that helps individuals work through developmental and relational trauma formed in early life experiences.
NARM supports increased awareness of unconscious survival patterns, allowing individuals to shift long-standing emotional and relational dynamics over time.
What is NARM Therapy?
NARM (NeuroAffective Relational Model) is a psychotherapeutic approach designed to address the impact of early attachment and developmental experiences on present-day functioning. These early experiences shape core beliefs around identity, safety, connection, and self-worth.
When early relational needs are not fully met, individuals often develop adaptive survival strategies that help them cope at the time but may later manifest as emotional disconnection, shame, self-criticism, or relational difficulties.
NARM works in the present moment, focusing on how these patterns show up in real time rather than extensively analyzing past events. The approach supports increased awareness of internal experience while gently exploring and shifting survival-based identity structures.
Over time, this process supports greater emotional regulation, authenticity, and connection to self.
Benefits of NARM Therapy
Healing Complex Trauma: Effectively treats attachment, relational, and developmental trauma (C-PTSD).
Integrated Approach: Combines psychodynamic, attachment, Gestalt, and somatic therapies for comprehensive treatment.
Restored Self-Regulation: Enhances self-regulation and emotional stability.
Identity Reconstruction: Addresses and resolves distortions in self-identity caused by early trauma.
Improved Relationships: Supports healthier and more authentic connections with others.
Symptom Relief: Reduces anxiety, depression, dissociation, and physical symptoms linked to trauma.
Present-Focused Therapy: Emphasizes mindfulness and present-time awareness to overcome past survival patterns.
Strength-Based: Builds on clients’ strengths and resources, promoting resilience.
Enhanced Connection: Encourages connection with self and others, fostering a sense of belonging and intimacy.
Holistic Healing: Integrates psychological and physiological healing processes for overall well-being.
Safe and Sound Protocol
The Safe and Sound Protocol is a listening-based therapeutic intervention designed to support nervous system regulation and improve feelings of safety and connection.
SSP supports the nervous system’s ability to shift out of chronic states of defense or dysregulation, allowing greater calm, emotional balance, and social engagement over time.
What is the Safe and Sound Protocol?
The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is a non-invasive auditory intervention developed to support regulation of the autonomic nervous system. It uses specially filtered music designed to stimulate pathways in the nervous system associated with safety, connection, and social engagement.
When the nervous system has been impacted by stress or trauma, it can become stuck in states of hyperarousal (anxiety, overwhelm) or hypoarousal (numbness, shutdown). SSP works gently with these systems to help restore flexibility and balance.
As regulation improves, individuals often experience greater ease in connection, communication, and emotional stability.
Does This Sound Like You?
You feel constantly overstimulated and anxious
Whether it’s social interactions, sounds, smells, light, or the feel of your clothes, sensory stimulation feels overwhelming and too much.
You have moderate to high levels of dysregulation
Life feels unmanageable. Your workload is overwhelming, you’re snapping at your partner and kids, you just want to crawl into bed, and you always feel rundown and sick.
You feel burned out and exhausted
A week off from work doesn’t even come close to the rest you need. You never feel truly rested or refreshed.
It’s All Just too much
Every little task and interaction tips you into a state of overwhelm. Even the 'little' things feel too much to handle.
You’re screaming but no one is listening
You’ve had appointments with GPs, naturopaths, physical therapists, chiropractors, and tried every diet and supplement under the sun. At best, you’ve found temporary symptom relief; at worst, you’ve been told it’s all in your head.
You’re tired of hurting
Physically and emotionally, you are in pain. Chronic pain, unrelenting stress, childhood trauma, and digestive discomfort seem to be on a permanent loop in your life.
You feel highly sensitive
You find it difficult to regulate your emotions, are sensitive to foods, fragrances, and chemicals, and are easily triggered by everyday situations.
You’re a Worn-Out Parent/Caregiver
You understand your child's needs deeply and have support from medical professionals, schools, etc., but you and your child still feel stuck. Sensory sensitivities and anxiety affect daily activities, and other therapies aren’t providing the relief you need.
